Women are no longer relegated to buying from the male portion. There are a lot of styles suitable for women in women's hunting jackets, and we also recommend them.
Wearing an oversized or oversized coat can cause interference in many ways, including bow and arrow problems, unnecessary bulk when moving, and feeling comfortable when packing.
Fortunately, the trend has changed, and of course there are many female varieties to choose from. Not all of these options are specific to hunting. I find that a lot of equipment is very suitable for everything from work to towns to remote areas.
Some major brands seem to be phasing out female hunting jackets, and Under Armour is the largest brand. Sitka Gear and First Lite continue to lead the way in building a broad product line for female hunters, and you will see some options for each brand below.
In addition, SHE Outdoor provides affordable clothing for all women. DSG Outerwear offers a wide range of sizes and affordable prices, the largest size is 5X.
The following women's hunting jackets are either in my personal gear kit or on the hillsides with tags in the zippered pockets and are highly rated and recommended.
Note: Most major brands have huge annual sales. Black Friday, Memorial Day, and Labor Day are good times to find women's hunting jackets. In my opinion, that coveted work is worth a few more dollars for the foreseeable future.
The Sawtooth Hybrid ($210) is one of the more interesting layered jackets I have worn. It is a cross between Merino and DWR nylon. The nylon upper extends to the shoulders and arms for durability, and Merino wool is used where more breathability is needed, including a complete Merino back for packing archery elk.
This piece has a little insulation material and is a super versatile choice. One of my complaints is that the hood is not nylon, and wet hair is not fun on cool days. But it is a layered work, so you should put a shell nearby just in case.

My gray Micro Puff ($299) is probably my most used gear. Yes, I have done a lot of hunting in it. It is windproof, breathable, approved by the town, DWR treated to achieve light water resistance, and provides perfect insulation for cool mornings and evenings. It has almost no weight and is super storable. If it is not on my body, it is usually within reach.
The biggest problem is that it is not the most durable part. I have torn a hole in this thing. The barbed wire is its mortal enemy and the main content of the hunt.
I patched the holes with visible patches, and now my Nano Puff is overgrown with small pine trees. So this is not a big trouble, but it definitely requires attention. If you don't like cunning, then Noso Patches is another good hole covering option.

I am interested in Sitka's Fanatic series. The hoodie is the greatest thing on the planet. The target of the jacket and bib combination is the whitetail hunter, on the tree, quietly waiting for it to come out in the severe cold.
The Fanatic jacket ($449) is made of ultra-quiet, high-fluff Berber wool and GORE-TEX INFINIUM, waterproof and windproof. I haven't worn it for hunting, but in my hand, it must be heavier than most of my coats. It is fitted for shooting and has numerous pockets and through holes for safety belts.
My friend Cindy Stites won the first batch and tested it for us last season.
This is what Cindy said: "I often wear a Fanatic jacket to hunt. The warmth is amazing! It is comfortable to sit for a long time in cold weather, and surprisingly, it is not in the woods like I thought Pick up a hitchhiker (burrs, stickers, etc.).
"I think the only downside is that the zipper is a bit awkward and the color is light, so you may not fit into it well. But overall, I really like it. The size of the DSG series is beyond inclusiveness. This affordable jacket ($180) will protect you from the cold hunting. This is a three-in-one jacket with a removable fleece lining. I hope the lining is not blue for hunting, but critics seem to like it anyway.
The shell is breathable but waterproof, and the jacket has many pockets to store tags, extra bullets or snacks. It comes in two types of camouflage as well as bright orange and bright pink. If you don't want to stack orange or pink vests on your gear, that's great.
I also want to speak out about Alpine Curves and its outstanding efforts to provide dimensional tolerance and fairness in the outdoors. If you have trouble finding a coat that fits your size, please choose the brand's ski equipment, hunting equipment, base layer, etc.

Your shell is one of the places where you really consider spending more money. Why? Cannonballs are usually very loud, and noise can destroy opportunities. Sitka makes several raincoats that meet the quiet needs, and the one I got is the Sitka Cloudburst Jacket (US$349).
Cloudburst feels almost velvety to the touch, it's a real bulletproof raincoat—seriously. I wore it for hours in the downpour (with the same excellent Cloudburst pants) while tracking down injured deer with my friends. After a period of hard work, we found the doe, and I took it back to the truck, warm and dry.
It can be packed, but it is heavier than traditional packable raincoats. It must be a hunting expert. But I have worn it for a few seasons now and it looks almost brand new. It has been living in the chaos of my truck. Quality is very important.

You can add a piece of high-quality waterproof equipment to your system for only about $100. And Kryptek does provide quality. It offers most of what our high-end selection offers: pit zippers, tape seams, adjustable cuffs, adjustable hood, belted waist. Really, I'm not sure if this work will go wrong.
It can be carried in its own pocket, and there are several different camouflage patterns and colors to choose from. Kryptek produces a large number of equipment with this high-quality but affordable product. If the sticker shock overcomes you when looking for a hunting suit, check their selection. You may be surprised how far your budget can be extended.

For ease of fit and movement, Aurora Puffy ($200) is simply the best choice. I spent zero degrees in the barn, and in the cool morning, turkeys gobbled up from the habitat. It is lightweight and has zero shrinkage. Aurora is of the right size, there is a little room for stacking, and it's just a nice coat.
One of my complaints? I have completely destroyed two pure green jackets in 4 years. My current Aurora is now just a degraded barn and hunting jacket, which cannot be worn in public. The fabric is easily hooked and it can hold all possible stains. My advice is to buy camouflage and stick to it.

I have worn this coat for several years. I have got rid of its tar and it has never let me down. It exudes a classic Filson feel and is also the most durable jacket in my gear. And it is very durable, with many pockets to store shells, mobile phones, birds, gloves, hats and anything else.
The Field Jacket ($395) is spacious in size, suitable for stacking, and can be used as a true insulating shell. Windproof, waterproof and damage-proof, it is made of 7.5 ounces of 100% nylon with a waterproof membrane. It weighs enough to keep you warm, but the added vents provide cooling options.
The only disadvantage is the cost. But if you want to have a jacket that may live longer than you, your children, and your grandchildren, this is it.

This is an affordable option ($130) to keep warm and dry in all kinds of inclement weather. It also has a lot of bells and whistles. The hood is detachable, the fleece-lined handbag provides shelter for cold fingers, and the high collar with chin cover keeps you away from the cold.
It has also received a 5-star rating from multiple critics. Honestly, this sounds like a winner. If camouflage snobbery combined with financial bankruptcy is not your business, this coat is a good choice.
Briefly speaking about this brand, SHE Outdoor offers a wide range of women's jackets and hunting suits at affordable prices. Most of the choices are highly rated, with sizes up to 2XL, and the most expensive jackets can be as high as $170. good.

I wore this jacket ($300) to fight the elk, where I sat for more than an hour in 4 degree weather. This is a real winter jacket. Catch the steelhead fish, go skiing, and the beast in this coat comes with a shotgun. It is durable, equipped with a waterproof Quantum Pro Pertex upper, and very warm. It is also a nice jacket, which can double as a suburban jacket. I love me as a multitasker.
Are there only disadvantages? It is black (or purple) and very expensive. But for rifle hunting later in the season, you will wear orange anyway.

Prois is a female-led company focused on creating hunting gear for women. Its fanatics are obsessed. Using proprietary camouflage, it is easy to spot the brand's equipment on the spot. I mentioned the Torai collection more than once, and this jacket ($200) is outstanding.
It can be used as a jacket or outer garment, which is windproof and waterproof. The fluff lining is said to be super warm and soft. Deep pockets and strategic ventilation design allow you to adapt to the four seasons.

This jacket for waterfowl is a masterpiece of technology in many ways. It is the last layer of Sitka's Waterfowl women's collection. The winning point is the extension of the shoulders, allowing the best movement in and out of the blind zone.
It is good for shooting, waterproof and breathable. It does not have to be specific to waterfowl; it is suitable for large games and anything else you want to do.
The only reason this has not become a top product is its almost ridiculous cost. A $499 safari coat is best filled with foie gras and black truffle in your pocket to match the meat you want in the refrigerator. If you are a hunting dog like me, I also suggest that you adjust this piece as a shell.

I was never a girl in a softshell jacket, but Catalyst ($240) showed up at my door. I like the elasticity of this coat, the second skin. Considering shooting, a tighter fit allows for streamlined movement with zero interference.
The fluff lining adds enough warmth, and on cool days, you can give up the base layer of the T-shirt. I wear it in the rain and always keep it warm and dry. This is the most durable, stain-resistant First Lite jacket I have. In other words, some friends are not suitable for tight fitting. If you want some space, please order the size.

The jacket is actually the last layer of the entire system, designed to allow you to adjust the temperature in any situation. Therefore, it is important to consider what constitutes your personal layering system and which women's hunting jackets are best for your outfit.

Softshell coats are usually waterproof, but you can think of them as early season jackets suitable for backpacking in September evenings or summer. The ideal softshell jacket is a windproof middle jacket that is easy to store and durable.
I call them puffies, and I often wear them as my only coat. But in a complete layered system, these are the lightweight insulating layers between the base layer and the shell. Use down or synthetic materials (such as Polartec) for insulation, pay attention to down count or composite weight.

The 800-filled down jacket is very warm, while the 80-gram synthetic insulation material is more like a medium-weight jacket. Down jackets also have its advantages. Its warmth-to-weight ratio is amazing, but if the down gets wet, it loses its bulkiness and warmth retention. And it is usually much more expensive.
You will see that down is beginning to be treated and sold as hydrophobic, but the waterproof performance of synthetic fibers is often better than down. Having said that, the outer shell is your last layer, which can protect your down from getting wet.
As the last bastion against natural disasters, your outer shell is a waterproof, windproof, knotted jacket. For me, the real seashell has an adjustable hoodie and cuffs, some kind of drawstring at the waist, and a full zipper close to the nose to make it really fit.
It can be a raincoat in summer or an insulation map in winter. But it does mean the difference between the pain of cold and dampness (and possibly hypothermia) and staying comfortable in bad conditions. No matter what season, you should have some kind of shell in your backpack.
Like its name, you will often pay extra for the technology of a high-quality women's hunting jacket. You may be able to save a little bit on the base layer and the insulation layer. My idea is to spend a little more money on a high-quality housing that will not fail when needed.
